To honor the seventieth birthday of coachbuilder Pininfarina, in 2000 the Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina was presented to the public in Paris.
This roadster is a real, open 12-Cylinder Ferrari with front engine and is was built in a limited number of 448 cars. The body design follows mostly the 550 Maranello Coupé but there are some remarkable details that show the mission of the Barchetta. The windscreen has been lowered by 100 millimeter, the back of the car has been restyled and shows two roll-over bars, encased with leather. Other special features are the three-piece Speedline rims and the red calipers. The interior is equipped with special fabrics and material like carbon and Lorca textile. Furthermore the race style bucket seats made from carbon and in leather trim give excellent support and comfort.
The example on offer is a wonderful car in as new condition, showing only 7.000 km. The color combination black/cuio is elegant and sporty at the same time, allover very classy and perfect to support the lines of the Barchetta. The car is fitted with OZ-Superleggera in 19 inch which fit excellent to the car but the original Speedline rims come with the car too. Price on demand.
